Sanrio, the Japanese company that gave us adored characters such as Hello Kitty and My Melody, also introduced Kiki and Lala – otherwise known as The Little Twin Stars to their production in the 70s.

Almost immediately they were a hit; with their irresistible charm and endearing personalities.

Now, Kiki and Lala are two of Sanrio's most popular characters, having been featured in a variety of forms including animation, comics, and video games.

Who are Kiki and Lala?

Sanrio, a Japanese company well-known for its adorable character designs, created Kiki and Lala in 1975. Kiki and Lala's fame quickly took off in Japan shortly after their birth to become one of Sanrio's most beloved characters, including Hello Kitty!
